Price’s upper-body injury is not serious; no word if he will play Tuesday or in the All Star game.

Price will not dress tonight, but coach Therrien said the injury is minor. The Canadiens last game before the All Star break is Tuesday vs. the Predators, but he could no confirm whether or not Price will be available or not.

Price stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Canadiens to the Penguins on Saturday. After winning five in a row, Price has dropped each of his last two while allowing six goals on 73 shots (.918 SV%). Tonight he will start in Columbus—Price has gone 9-5-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .928 SV% on the road this season.

Toffoli is out indefinitely with mononucleosis.

Toffoli was a late scratch from Saturday’s game vs. the Jets because of mono. There is no timetable for his return, but he is expected to miss at least two weeks. Mono can be tough, because you can lose a substantial amount of weight and strength.

Ellis was injured in Thursday’s game vs. the Stars and will miss at least the next five games. He will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break and then a more detailed timeline will be released. The Predators did not recall a defenseman from Milwaukee for today’s game, so Anton Volchenkov must be ready to return.

Ellis left Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Ellis left after playing just 11:16 TOI and did not return. Ellis had been playing really well, having registered two goals and three assists in his previous three games—5G / 13A, plus-12 in 40 games this season. If Ellis misses an extended period of time, it could open the door for veteran Ian White to make it back to the NHL.

Price stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Canadiens win over the Penguins on Saturday. Price has won five consecutive starts while posting a 1.20 GAA and .959 SV%. Tonight he look to get revenge vs. the Lightning; they scored four goals on 23 shots in the first two periods of a 7-1 Tampa win in October.

Skinner (illness) will be back in the Hurricanes lineup on Sunday afternoon.

Skinner missed Friday's game with an illness, but will be back in the lineup this afternoon vs. the Bruins. Skinner has not recorded a point while posting a minus-5 rating in his last five games. He has 16 points (8G / 8A) in 33 games this season.

Price turned aside 22 of 24 shots he faced in the Canadiens win over the Devils last night. It was Price’s 200th career win (21st of the season) in his 400th career game. He wasn’t overly busy last night, so he will start again tonight in Pittsburgh. He comes in having won four straight while posting a 1.25 GAA and .957 SV%.

Price stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Habs 3-1 win over the Hurricanes on Monday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will start tonight in New Jersey. Price was red-hot to end the 2014 calendar year, winning six of seven with a 1.29 GAA and .956 SV%. He is a must start tonight vs. the Devils.

Price made 37 saves on 38 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Islanders last Tuesday. After six days off, it is no surprise to see Price between the pipes tonight. He draws a great matchup to help shake the rust off as he takes on the Hurricanes in Carolina. He has won five of six with a 1.34 GAA and .954 SV%.

Price gave up a single goal on 25 shots in the Canadiens win over the Senators on Saturday. He has been victorious in four of his last five starts with a 1.41 GAA and .949 SV%. He is as hot as they come right now, but he draws a tough matchup as he gets set to take on the Islanders on the road.
