Johannesson was the 176th overall pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft but has played exclusively in the Swedish Hockey League. In 43 games with Orebrok HK (SweHL) this season, the 23-year-old defenseman scored 27 points (11G / 26A).
Sylvegard is an undrafted 24-year-old right-winger who has spent the last several seasons playing in the Swedish Hockey League. In 51 games with Vaxjo HC (SweHL) this season, Sylvegard scored 41 points (23G / 18A).
Faksa appears to have suffered an undisclosed injury in Game 2 of the series and has now missed the last two games as a result. Largely relied on for his defensive prowess, Faksa still managed to tally seven goals and 12 assists across 74 games in the 2023-24 regular season.
