This injury is related to the one that's sidelined him most of the season. While he appears ready for NHL duties, the younger Schenn will need to be healthy in order to produce at this level.

Faulk, recalled Thursday from the Charlotte Checkers (AHL), will replace Derek Joslin, who will be a healthy scratch.
Faulk was compared to Jeff Skinner during training camp which is telling to how the organization views the youngster. Look for him to get some minutes at even strength and a look on the power play.

#NHL_Canes recalled defenseman Justin Faulk from Charlotte and have officially assigned forward Zac Dalpe to back to the Checkers.
Faulk scored two goals and six points through 12 with the Charlotte Checkers making himself appear NHL ready.

Schenn last played for the Flyers on October 26th and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. His return to the ice and participation in line rushes is a good indication of his speedy recovery.
Schenn is out about two more weeks.

Schenn was apparently walking around with a boot today and likely will not play tonight. He was hit in the foot by a P.K. Subban shot last night.
