Elliott is arguably the hottest goalie in the NHL right now and is a must start tonight in Arizona. Elliott is 8-4-3 with a 1.96 GAA and .934 SV% on the road.
McDonagh was playing in just his second game after missing four with a concussion. He was caught in the head by a Leo Komarov elbow and was forced to leave the game. The immediate concern is another concussion, which could keep McDonagh sidelined for an extended period of time.
Elliott stopped 17 of 18 shots in the Blues win over the Stars on Tuesday. Elliott extended his winning streak to three games, posting a 1.66 GAA and .943 SV% over that span. He has made 15 starts in a row, going 10-3-2 and turning himself into a No. 1 fantasy hockey netminder with Jake Allen sidelined. Tonight he faces an L.A Kings team that has lost three of their last four.
Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Ottawa on February 8th. Ben Bishop has started the last four games, but will turn to Vasilevskiy tonight vs. Winnipeg. Vasilevskiy is 8-5-0 with a 2.73 GAA and .910 SV% with the Lightning and 6-4-1 with a 1.94 GAA and .935 SV% with Syracuse (AHL).

Paul, 20, may make his NHL debut on Tuesday with Mika Zibanejad questionable with an illness. Paul has picked up 17 points (6G / 11A) in 45 games with Binghamton this season. He centred the fourth line with Shane Prince and Chris Neil on the wing in the Senators’ morning skate.

He has gone 7-3-1 since Jake Allen went down with an injury and tonight he will make his 12th consecutive start. Tonight he’ll face a Jets team that has lost five of their last seven.
Vasilevskiy stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout won over the Maple Leafs on January 27th. It was Vasilevskiy’s eighth win and first shutout of the season. He gets the nod tonight in Ottawa with Ben Bishop starting on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy has gone 4-3-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .912 SV% on the road this season.
McDonagh will not play on Monday after suffering a concussion on Saturday. He suffered the injury when he was punched in the head by Flyers’ forward Wayne Simmonds. With McDonagh out, Dylan McIlrath will return to the lineup. There’s no timetable for McDonagh’s return.
