Girgensons suffered an lower-body injury on Saturday and being moved to IR means that he will miss at least three games. Peyton Krebs (COVID-19 protocol) will replace him in the lineup on Monday.
Girgensons will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day at this point. Peyton Krebs will return from COVID-19 protocol to help replace Girgensons in the bottom-6.
Girgensons is dealing with an undisclosed injury, so he'll come out of the lineup on Saturday to open up a roster spot for Tage Thompson to be reinserted into the lineup.
Cernak suffered a lower-body injury on Thursday vs. the Canucks and is questionable to play Saturday vs. the Stars. According to head coach Jon Cooper, Ryan McDonagh, who is also a game-time decision, has a better chance of playing than Cernak.
McDonagh has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but will be a game-time decision on Saturday. Monitor his status as the Lightning hit the ice for warmups at 6:30 PM ET.
McDonagh is considered a game-time decision on Tuesday but it seems unlikely that he will play. Zach Bogosian is set to return to the lineup but don't expect to see McDonagh until Thursday at the earliest.
Kucherov has been out since October 16th but is expected to play Thursday vs. the Flames. Kucherov had a strong start to the season, scoring one goal with three assists in his first three games. He'll be back on the top line with Brayden Point and top power-play unit.
