The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Vasilevskiy, who has won 14 of his first 17 appearances of the season. He has been virtually unbeatable at Amalie Arena (8-1-1) and the Blackhawks are just 5-4-1 on the road.
Elliott stopped all 13 shots that he faced after replacing Michal Neuvirth in last night’s loss to the Canucks. Wth Neuvirth struggling, Elliott will return to the crease tonight, searching for his first win since November 9th. Despite only winning one game in six starts, Elliott has posted an impressive 1.87 GAA and .938 SV% in November.
Elliott allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Flyers’ loss in Winnipeg on Thursday. Despite losing three in a row, Elliott has been really good, stopping 74 of the last 78 shots (.949 SV%) that he has faced in those games. This afternoon he will have a shot against the team he played for last season.
Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 28 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Stars on Thursday. Vasilevskiy has been exceptional this season and comes into Saturday on a four-game winning streak while posting a 1.71 GAA and .944 SV%. Tonight he faces an Islanders team that has gone 4-6-0 while averaging 2.90 goals for per game on the road this season.
Atkinson’s extension include a no-trade or no-move clause in the first two years of the deal and a limited no-trade after that. Atkinson had a breakout campaign in 2016-17 but has struggled early-on in 2017-18, collecting just four goals and two assists (six points) in 15 games. Regardless of the slow start, Atkinson is locked into a large role in the Blue Jackets offence and is now signed there through the 2024-25 season.
Lagace allowed seven goals on 29 shots before leaving Tuesday’s game in Edmonton with an injury. He has now won just two of his seven starts (+ one relief appearance) while posting a brutal 4.12 GAA and .860 SV%. No disrespect, but he was the Golden Knights’ fourth string goalie for a reason, so he’s a very risky fantasy option.

Elliott has stopped 81 of the last 84 shots (.964 SV%) he has faced in his last three starts, but has been on the wrong end of two Devan Dubnyk shutouts in his last two starts. He draws a tough matchup against a Jets team that has won six of their last eight (6-1-1).
Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 29 shots in the Lightning’s win in Anaheim on Sunday. The win extended Vasilevskiy’s personal winning streak to three and he now leads the NHL in wins (13) while ranking tied for fifth in SV% (.930) and tied for 10th in GAA (2.32). He is a must-start regardless of matchup and tonight he faces a Dallas team that has lost four of their last six.
Paul was sent back to Belleville after the Senators got home from Sweden because they had four days off. On Wednesday the Senators skated with 11 forwards and seven defensemen, but Paul’s call-up suggests that he may play and Chris Wideman will be a healthy scratch. The 22-year-old has five assists in 12 AHL games this season and five points (2G / 3A) in 26 career NHL games.
Lagace allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Golden Knights win over the Jets on Friday. With all of the other netminders in Vegas still banged up, Lagace is expected to go tonight in Edmonton, his seventh consecutive start. Lagace comes in with a 3.58 GAA and .876 SV% so far and remains a risky option on a nightly basis.
Elliott allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Flyers’ loss to Minnesota on Saturday. Elliott was out duelled by Devan Dubnyk, who he will go head-to-head against again tonight in Minnesota. Elliott has stopped 64 of 66 shots (.970 SV%) in his last two starts and comes into Tuesday at 3-2-0 with a 3.02 GAA and .902 SV% on the road.
Paul registered two shots in just 6:09 TOI in his season debut vs. the Avalanche on Saturday, but returns to Belleville where he has five assists in 11 games so far this season.
