Woll has started one of every three games the last several weeks, a trend that continues on Tuesday as the Maple Leafs enter action as +135 road underdogs. The Maple Leafs have assigned Matt Murray to Toronto (AHL) on an LTIR conditioning loan.

Murray has not played this season after undergoing hip surgery in October. Murray could see some game action with the Marlies during his loan and if all goes well, provides the Maple Leafs with added goaltending depth for the postseason. But he'll be behind Ilya Samsonov, Joseph Woll, and Martin Jones on the depth chart, so he very likely won't see any games with the Maple Leafs this season.

The Maple Leafs have reportedly signed Webber to an entry-level contract.

The Maple Leafs acquired Webber's draft rights from the Hurricanes in March after Carolina was unable to sign their 2019 fourth-round pick (99th overall). The 23-year-old towering stay-at-home defenseman has scored only one goal and 16 points in 123 games played across four NCAA seasons with Boston University.
