Matthews was a bit of a surprise scratch vs. the Islanders on Sunday and will miss his second straight game on Tuesday. Matthews skated before the Maple Leafs' morning skate and is feeling better but is still considered day-to-day.

Pezzetta willl miss Tuesday's game vs. the Wild and Thursday's game vs. the Flyers after being suspended on Monday. Pezzetta is eligible to return to the lineup in Ottawa on Saturday.


Joshua, who has 17 points (7G / 10A) in 33 AHL games this season, will replace Alexei Toropchenko (lower-body) in the lineup on Saturday.

Pezzetta played 6:08 TOI in Toronto on Saturday but is expected to be replaced by Jesse Ylonen in the lineup on Monday.

Jake Allen suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's loss to the Maple Leafs and Carey Price doesn't appear ready yet, so Primeau figures to serve as Sam Montembeault's backup on Monday. Primeau is 15-10-3 with a 2.87 GAA and .912 SV% in 30 AH games this season.

Pezzetta has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury but will play Saturday in Toronto. Pezzetta will replace Jesse Ylonen and will likely skate on the fourth line.




Muzzin will be back in the Maple Leafs lineup for the first time since February 21st. Ilya Lyubushkin will be a healthy scratch to make room and Muzzin will skate with Justin Holl.

Muzzin is listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday's game in Florida and being activated clears the way for him to play. It's unclear who he will replace on the blueline but it will likely be Justin Holl or Timothy Liljegren.
