McCabe missed Thursday's game in St. Louis but will replace Colin Miller on Saturday afternoon vs. the Canucks. McCabe has just two goals and five assists (seven points) in 41 games this season.

Primeau has played extremely well in his first two NHL starts, allowing just five goals on 72 shots (.931 SV%) but heads back to Laval to get more playing time. Primeau, 20, was a seventh-round pick of the Canadiens in 2017. After two years at Northeastern University, he turned pro this year and is 7-4-1 with a 2.58 GAA and .910 SV%. Primeau could make his NHL debut during the Habs' back-to-back on Thursday/Friday.

Stolarz, who has gone 8-5-1 with a 2.98 GAA and .910 SV% in 14 AHL games this season, will serve as Ryan Miller's backup on Monday. John Gibson is unavailable due to an illness.
