The Kings have acquired Luke Schenn and Vincent Lecavalier from the Flyers in exchange for Jordan Weal and a 2016 3rd round pick.

Schenn has just five points (2G / 3A) in 29 games with the Flyers this season. The 26-year-old has never been known for his offence, registering a career-high of 22 points in 2010-11 and 2011-12. He should slot in on the Kings’ third pair.

Scheifele has missed the last four games with a concussion, but he was activated on Sunday and is expected to play in Anaheim. The Jets did not hold a morning skate, so there is no indication who Scheifele will play with, but it is expected to be Mathieu Perreault and Nikolaj Ehlers.

The Jets have struggled on the road this season and Hellebuyck has not been immune to that, going 1-3-0 with a 2.66 GAA and .888 SV% this season. Tonight he will face a Sharks team that has lost three of their last five while allowing an average of 3.8 goals against per game.
