The Ducks have recalled Adam Cracknell from San Diego (AHL).

Cracknell who started the season in the Maple Leafs organization has picked up 13 points (7G / 6A) in 13 games since joining San Diego—giving him 23 points (10G / 13A) in 27 AHL games this season. The 33-year-old has 21 goals and 22 assists (43 points) in 208 career NHL games.

The Rangers have claimed Adam Cracknell off of waivers from the Stars.

Cracknell played 8:35 TOI in the Stars’ second game of the season and was placed on waivers shortly after. He’ll join the Rangers where he will be in a similar role of depth forward. He had 10 goals and six assists (16 points) in 69 games with Dallas a season ago.

The Oilers have claimed Adam Cracknell off of waivers from Vancouver.

Benoit Pouliot is out long-term with a shoulder injury, so the Oilers went out and picked up another big body off of the waiver wire. The 30-year-old is 6-foot-2, 210 lbs. and has 10 points (5G / 5A) in 44 games with the Canucks this season.

The Blues have acquired Adam Cracknell from Columbus for future considerations.

Cracknell was originally with the Blues, but was claimed off of waivers by Columbus. The 29-year-old had three goals and four assists (7 points) in 18 games with Springfield. He will likely report to Chicago (AHL).

The Blue Jackets claimed Adam Cracknell off of waivers from the Kings.

Cracknell, 29, played 19 games with the Blues last season. He recorded two assists, zero PIMs and an even plus/minus rating. Claiming the 6-foot-1, 216 lbs. forward forced the Blue Jackets to put Brandon Dubinsky (lower-body) on injured reserve. Cracknell will now compete for playing time with a number of young Jackets' players.

The Kings have signed Adam Cracknell to a one-year contract worth $600K.

Cracknell had two assists in 19 games with the Blues last season. He spent half of the season with Chicago (AHL) where he scored 12 goals with 13 assists (25 points) in 28 games. He is physical player who should fit right in with the Kings.

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Saturday the club has assigned forwards Jonathan Cheechoo, Adam Cracknell, Philip McRae, Anthony Peluso and Brett Sterling, defensemen Ian Cole and Mark Cundari along with goaltender Ben Bishop to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, Peoria Rivermen.

No immediate fantasy hockey value in the AHL.

Cracknell made his NHL debut at age 25 last year and gave the Blues quite a boost when the club went through a rash of injuries. He had three goals and seven points in 24 games, but most important, didn't look out of place.

Despite playing for the team last season, Cracknell is not guaranteed a roster spot. The former 9th round pick scored 23 goals over two seasons in the AHL and likely will fill a bottom-line role.
