Minnesota has re-signed Adam Raska to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Raska appeared in five games with Minnesota in 2023-24 but failed to pick up a point and still earned himself a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Wild. The 22-year-old right-winger is still without a point in 13 career NHL games across three seasons but had three goals and seven points in 56 games played between Iowa (AHL) and San Jose (AHL) in 2023-24.

Raska has been a healthy scratch for Minnesota's previous two games but will draw back in the lineup Friday vs. Florida as Fredrick Gaudreau (upper body) is on the mend. The 22-year-old Czechia winger has yet to pick up a point or shot on goal in three games this season but has only averaged 7:28 TOI per game in a complimentary role.

Raska has been recalled from Iowa (AHL).

Sammy Walker has been reassigned to the Iowa Wild of the AHL, corresponding with Raska being recalled on Friday morning. The 22-year-old Raska was traded to the Wild organization earlier this season but has spent all of his time in Iowa, scoring one point (1G / 0A) and tallying 61 penalty minutes in 20 games.

The Minnesota Wild have acquired Adam Raska and a 2026 fifth-round selection for Calen Addison.

In a trade that centred around Calen Addison going to the San Jose Sharks, Adam Raska will be going to the Minnesota Wild along with a 2026 sixth-round pick. The 22-year-old Czech Winger was drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft by the Sharks and has 25 points (9G / 11A) through 110 games with the San Jose Baracuda of the AHL.

The 21-year-old returns to the minors, where he had four goals, seven assists, 121 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus through 53 games played prior to his previous call-up.
