Georgiev has won three of his last four with a 2.48 GAA and .920 SV% but draws a terrible road matchup in Tampa Bay--the Lightning are 2-1-1 while scoring 3.00 goals per game in their four home games.

Henrik Lundqvist started the last three games but Georgiev will make his seventh appearance on Tuesday night. The 23-year-old is 1-2-1 with a 3.60 GAA and .887 SV% at Madison Square Garden this season and catches a break with Sidney Crosby, Patric Hornqvist and Kris Letang out of the Penguins lineup.

Georgiev stopped 32 of 33 shots in the Rangers 2-1 win in Nashville on Saturday. Georgiev has been great lately, winning back-to-back starts while posting a .968 SV% and that has earned him a third-straight start on Monday. He is 1-1-1 with a 2.57 GAA and. 921 SV% at Madison Square Garden and will face an Ottawa team that is 3-8-1 while averaging 2.58 goals per game (25th in the NHL).

Georgiev allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Rangers win over the Lightning on Tuesday. It was a terrific outing for the young netminder, who had a pretty solid month of October, going 2-2-1 with a 2.56 GAA and .924 SV%. As well as he has played, he'll be in tough on Saturday. Nashville is 6-1-2 on home ice and leads the NHL in goal-scoring (4.08 GF/gm).

The Rangers are currently giving up the most shots against per game, so he'll be in tough against a high-powered Lightning team.

Georgiev’s first outing was impressive and tonight he faces a Devils team that is the only winless team left. They are averaging just 2.17 goals per game (t-28th) through six games.

Georgiev had a solid rookie campaign, going 14-13-4 with a 2.91 GAA and .914 SV% in 33 games as Henrik Lundqvist’s backup. Depending on how King Henrik plays, Georgiev could be in-line for an even bigger workload in his second full-season. Overall, he has a .915 SV% in 39 career starts and is a solid spot-start option against a bad Senators team.

Henrik Lundqvist has started the last two games but Georgiev will get a chance to play spoiler tonight vs. a Blue Jackets team that is still fighting for their playoff lives. The 23-year-old is 1-1-0 while allowing 11 goals on 78 shots (.859 SV%) in two games vs. Columbus this season.
