Nilsson allowed four goals on 45 shots in the Sabres’ loss in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Nilsson has lost three of his last four starts while allowing a combined 15 goals on 151 shots (.901 SV%). Tonight he has a tough matchup, but he’s an impressive 7-1-1 on home ice.

Nilsson allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Sabres’ loss in Dallas on January 26th. Robin Lehner started the last four games, including last night’s game, but Nilsson will get in tonight vs. the Sharks. The 26-year-old has gone 6-1-1 with an impressive 1.84 GAA and .946 SV% on home ice this season.

Nilsson allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Sabres’ win over the Red Wings last Friday. Nilsson has gone 3-3-1 with a 2.59 GAA and .924 SV% in his last seven appearances and comes into Dallas with a 2-5-3 record on the road. Nilsson has been a more than serviceable backup this season, but is risky start tonight.

Nilsson allowed one goal on 16 shots after replacing Robin Lehner in the Sabres’ loss in Toronto on Tuesday. Nilsson missed Thursday’s practice with an illness, but will be in the crease tonight vs. the Red Wings. Nilsson has gone 2-3-1 with a 2.74 GAA and .921 SV% in January and comes into Friday with a .924 SV% on the season while facing 33.8 shots per start.

Nilsson was held off of the ice on Thursday because of an illness, which required the Sabres to recall Linus Ullmark from Rochester (AHL). With Nilsson ill, expect Ullmark to remain with the team and backup Robin Lehner on Friday.

Nilsson stopped 39 of 40 shots in the Sabres’ win over the Flyers on Tuesday. Nilsson has had some really good and really bad outings this season, but despite facing an average of 34 shots per game, Nilsson has posted a 2.37 GAA and .930 SV% in 13 games. The Lightning come in on a four-game losing streak.

Nilsson allowed four goals on 43 shots in the Sabres’ overtime loss in Chicago last Thursday. Robin Lehner started on Saturday, but is sick today, so Nilsson will be back in goal vs. the Flyers. Tonight he will face Philadelphia for the second time this season—he stopped 38 of 41 shots in a 4-3 shootout loss in the first meeting. The 26-year-old is 4-1-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .942 SV% on home ice.

Nilsson allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Sabres’ win in New York on Tuesday. It was the second time this season that Nilsson beat the Rangers and earned him a second straight start tonight in Chicago. The Blackhawks are a tough 13-4-4 on home-ice and Nilsson is 2-2-2 with a 2.74 GAA and .912 SV% on the road.

Nilsson allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Sabres’ loss in Brooklyn on December 23rd. Tonight he will make his 11th start of the season and it will come against a Rangers team that ranks third in the NHL with 3.41 goals per game. Nilsson won his first start vs. New York and has gone 1-2-2 with a 3.10 GAA and .904 SV% on the road.

Nilsson allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Sabres’ win over the Oilers on December 6th. Nilsson has won his last three starts despite allowing a combined nine goals on 91 shots (.901 SV%). Tonight he will start in Carolina—he has gone 1-1-1 with a 3.27 GAA and .912 SV% on the road this season.

Nilsson allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Sabres’ win over the Rangers last Thursday. Robin Lehner started the last two games, including last night, so Nilsson will go tonight vs. the Oilers. Nilsson has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.52 GAA and .932 SV%. Tonight he will face an Oilers team that has lost four of their last six games.

Nilsson gave up three goals on 29 shots after replacing Robin Lehner in the Sabres’ win over the Senators on Tuesday. Nilsson has played very well in his first season in Buffalo, posting a 2.20 GAA and .939 SV% in seven appearances. With Lehner still battling a hip injury, Nilsson will face the NHL’s highest scoring team tonight.

Nilsson stopped 46 of 47 shots in the Sabres’ win over the Penguins last Saturday. It was a superb outing for Nilsson, who draws another tough assignment today in Washington. Nilsson is facing an average of 37 shots per game and carries a .951 SV% into tonight.
