Loktionov, who was acquired at the trade deadline in the Tuomo Ruutu trade, has enjoyed his early time in Carolina. He went from cycling in and out of the lineup in Jersey, to playing on the top line with Eric Staal in Raleigh. He has three goals and three assists in his last seven games, but could be held out of Tuesday's game in Pittsburgh. Monitor his status during pre-game warmups.

Loktionov, 23, is a former Los Angeles King who was in his second season with the Devils. He had recorded four goals and eight assists (12 points) in 48 games with New Jersey this season.

Loktionov has one assist and is a minus-1 while averaging 14:10 TOI in four games.

Loktionov sat out the Devils last two games with an undisclosed injury. He will return to the lineup tonight and likely play on the right side of Henrique and Kovalchuk.

Loktionov is currently making his Devils debut vs. Ottawa. He is a skilled player and if put in the right situation, he could produce. However it remains to be seen how much ice he will see.
