Ottawa has signed Angus Crookshank to a one-year, two-way contract extension worth $775,000.

Ottawa opened up its inaugural Spring Members Summit by announcing that they had signed 24-year-old Angus Crookshank to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 on Wednesday. The left-winger was Ottawa's 2018 fifth-round pick and made his NHL debut in 2023-24, picking up two goals and three points across a short 13-game showing.

Crookshank was limited to only 3:37 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild before exiting the game with a lower-body injury. The 24-year-old Crookshank has three points (2G / 1A) in 13 games with Ottawa this season.

Crookshank will return to Ottawa's lineup for the first time since January on Saturday vs. New Jersey.

Crookshank was a fifth-round pick of the Ottawa Senators in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. The 24-year-old played seven games with Ottawa earlier this season but has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with Belleville (AHL), tallying 46 points (24G / 22A) in 50 games.

Crookshank has spent most of the season with the Belleville Senators of the AHL, scoring 21 points (10G / 11A) in 24 games.
