Angello had 13 goals, 10 assists, 87 PIMs and a -15 plus/minus through 62 games played with both Springfield (AHL) and Milwaukee (AHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a two-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV with Nashville. The towering 6'5" centre brings three goals and five points across 31 career NHL games played of experience to the Predators.

Angello was a fifth-round pick in 2014 and spent the first five years of his career with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization. Angello spent most of the 2021-22 season in the AHL, collecting 19 points (7G / 12A) in 44 games with Wikes-Barre/Scranton. Look for him to report to Springfield (AHL) to start 2022-23.

Both Angello and Sam Lafferty were returned to the AHL on Monday after the Penguins added a trio of forwards at the deadline. Angello returns leading Wilkes-Barre/Scranton with 16 goals and nine assists in 45 games.
