Hutton is expected to draw back into Vegas' lineup for Game 5 on Wednesday.

Hutton will draw into the Golden Knights lineup for the first time in this year's playoffs as he replaces Zach Whitecloud in Vegas' lineup for Game 5 on Wednesday. The 31-year-old appeared in two games during last year's Stanley Cup playoff run. He had two goals, eight assists, 67 SOG, 17 PIMs and a +12 plus/minus through 41 games during the regular season.

Hutton has been out of the lineup since December 28th with an upper-body injury. Despite being out of the lineup for six weeks, the 30-year-old defenceman has almost surpassed his games played from last season and has a goal, eight assists, 46 SOG, 15 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus in 31 games played.

Hutton is nearing 500 games played (496) in his ninth NHL season and has signed a two-year, $1.95 million contract ($975,000) with Vegas Friday. The 30-year-old defenceman has almost surpassed his games played from last season at the quarter point of the 2023-24 season and has a goal, seven assists, 45 SOG, 15 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus in 28 games played.

Hutton has been a healthy scratch for Vegas' previous five games but will draw back into the lineup Thursday vs. Winnipeg to replace Nicolas Hague (lower body). The 30-year-old defenseman has an assist, eight SOG, five PIMs, and a +3 plus/minus through five games played in 2023-24.

Hutton has been a healthy scratch since Game 5 of the opening round (April 27th) but will draw back into the lineup for Game 5 vs. Edmonton as he replaces the suspended Alex Pietrangelo. The 30-year-old has only played in one playoff game thus far in the 2022-23 playoffs, with no points, one SOG and 14:37 TOI.
