The Kraken have signed Brandon Biro to a one-year, two-way contract.

Seattle's trend of signing fringe NHL talent continued on Tuesday as they brought in Brandon Biro for a one-year, two-way contract. The 26-year-old had two goals in five games played with Buffalo in 2023-24 but spent the majority of the season with Rochester where he had 16 goals and 43 points in 59 games played.

With Buffalo acquiring Eric Robinson from Columbus on Wednesday Brandon Biro has been reassigned to Rochester (AHL). The 25-year-old left-winger had just returned from an injury for a three-game spell and had two goals and two SOG in five games prior to his demotion. He heads back to Rochester, where he had six goals and 12 points in 10 games before his previous promotion.

Biro played several games with the Rochester Americans of the AHL, where he has 12 points (6G / 6A) in 10 games, after returning from an injury that derailed a hot start to his NHL campaign. Before his injury, Biro played two games with the Sabres, scoring two goals while averaging 13:00 time-on-ice.

Biro was off to a hot start after being called upon to enter the Sabres' lineup last week, scoring two points (2G / 0A) in two games and averaging 13:00 time-on-ice. Biro will miss at least the next week as he has been placed on the injured reserve with an upper-body injury. Matthew Savoie has been called up from Rochester (AHL) in the interim.

Biro was recalled from the Rochester Americans of the AHL and is expected to make his NHL season debut on a line with Tage Thompson and Jordan Greenway. The undrafted 25-year-old has six points (2G / 4A) in five games with the Americans this season. The roster spot opened up for Biro with Eric Comrie (lower-body) being placed on the injured reserve.

Biro was an undrafted free agent out of Penn State University, who has scored nine goals with 27 assists (36 points) in 39 AHL games this season. He's expected to make his NHL debut on the Sabres' third line because Kyle Okposo is dealing with an illness.

Biro was an undrafted free agent who just finished up his senior year at Penn State University, where he had 25 points (10G / 15A) in 25 games. Biro will likely join Rochester (AHL) when the NHL and AHL return to play, whether it be for the 2020 or 2021 season.
