Brock Boeser News
Boeser (foot contusion) has a “good chance” to return to the Canucks lineup on Wednesday.

Boeser missed Monday’s game with a foot contusion, but it looks like he could return tonight vs. the Devils. The rookie winger has had a good start to the season, posting two goals and seven assists (nine points) in his first eight games of the season. Look for him to replace Jayson Megna in the lineup if he plays.

Boeser will draw into the Canucks’ lineup on Thursday.

After playing great in the preseason, Boeser inexplicably served as a healthy scratch in the first two games of the season. Instead, the Canucks elected to give pugilist Derek Dorsett nearly 16 minutes per game in those contests, so expect Boeser to step into a top-9 role tonight.

Boeser will be a healthy scratch for the second straight game.

Boeser had an excellent preseason and was an early favourite for rookie of the year, but he will have a tough time doing so if he can’t get into the lineup. The Canucks won their season opener vs. the Oilers, so they’ll roll with the same lineup tonight vs. the Senators—which means Jake Virtanen in, Boeser out.
