The 28-year-old undrafted defensemen has appeared in three career NHL games and has an assist and -2 plus/minus rating.

Rafferty played the entire 2021-22 season in the AHL, scoring four goals with 20 assists (24 points) in 65 games with San Diego. He's only played in three career NHL games and will almost certainly start 2022-23 in the AHL.

Rafferty signed with the Canucks after his Junior Year at Quinnipiac University. Rafferty finished the year with four goals and 20 assists (24 points) in 38 games with Quinnipiac. Rafferty will skate with Ben Hutton on the Canucks’ second-line.
