With Vegas making a flurry of deals at the trade deadline, Byron Froese finds himself the odd-man out of the Golden Knights roster and has been reassigned to Henderson (AHL). The 32-year-old veteran had failed to produce in his 16-game showing with Vegas, with only one assist, 17 SOG, four PIMs and a -2 plus/minus.

Froese is a veteran forward who has spent the vast majority of his career in the AHL. Since turning pro in 2012, he's appeared in 400 AHL games versus 116 NHL games. In 2022 he spent the whole year in Stockton (AHL), scoring 20 goals with 17 assists (37 points) in 55 games. He'll most likely start 2022-23 with Henderson (AHL).

Froese is an extremely hard worker and that just might be enough to land him a spot with the Canadiens out of training camp.
