Lerby, 21, is a Swedish defenseman who has spent the last three seasons with Malmo Redhawks in the Swedish Elite League. Lerby, who had five gaols and 16 assists (21 points) in 47 games this year, will stay in Malmo next season before joining the Flames for the 2020-21 season.
