This will be Desjardins' third career NHL start and first since the 2010-11 season. He started two games that season winning both with a 1.00 GAA and .968 SV%. He will try and keep his undefeated NHL record in tact vs. Montreal who are first in the Eastern Conference.
This is an AHL trade. Desjardins is 7-13-2 with a 2.94 GAA and .905 SV% this season in the AHL.
