Hudon had 10 goals, eight assists, 14 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus in 22 games with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) and will head back up to the Avalanche for a second time this season. In his previous seven games with Colorado (NHL) he had zero points, 16 SOG and two PIMs.
Hudon could make his Avalanche debut on Monday after being called up to (most likely) replace Artturi Lehkonen on Monday. Hudon has scored eight goals and eight assists (16 points) in 20 AHL games this season.

Hudon spent the entire 2019 season with the Canadiens but appeared in just 32 games and picked up just five points (3G / 2A). It was a disappointing year for Hudon, who had 30 points in 2018. With Ryan Poehling and Nick Suzuki pushing for the NHL, Hudon will likely be an extra forward to start 2020.
