The Senators recalled Chris Driedger from Binghamton (AHL) on Sunday.

Driedger has gone 8-6-1 with a 2.74 GAA and .909 SV% in 16 games with Binghamton this season. The 22-year-old has also appeared in one NHL game and two ECHL games this season. He comes up so Matt O’Connor can get some playing time with Binghamton.

Driedger was up with Ottawa serving as a backup, but with Craig Anderson (personal) back with the team, Driedger will go back to Binghamton. In his only NHL appearance, Driedger allowed four goals on 15 shots in a relief appearance.

Driedger, 22, has gone 1-0-1with a 0.96 GAA and .961 SV% in two AHL starts this season. With Craig Anderson heading back Ottawa to deal with a personal matter, Driedger has been recalled to backup Andrew Hammond over the weekend.

Driedger, 21, has gone 5-5-0 with a 2.92 GAA and .910 SV% in 10 games with Binghamton this season. With Andrew Hammond still sidelined with a concussion, the Senators have swapped Driedger and Matt O’Connor so that O’Connor can get some playing time.

Driedger, 20, did not appear in any games during his call-up and with Craig Anderson set to return on Tuesday, the Senators have cleared the way for him by reassigning Driedger. He has gone 2-0-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .891 SV% in two games with Binghamton.
