Schneider, 26, has been great in the AHL this season, picking up 17 points (7G / 10A) in 13 games with Rochester. Schneider has one assist in two games with the Sabres and tonight he is expected to appear in his third NHL game of the season.
Schneider, 25, was an undrafted free agent that was acquired in an AHL trade with Ottawa Senators at the trade deadline. The 6-foot-1 right winger has registered 12 points (3G / 9A) in 15 games with Rochester since the trade and has 20 goals and 34 assists (54 points) in 69 AHL games between Rochester and Binghamton.
Schneider, 25, was leading Binghamton (AHL) in points with 42 (17G / 25A) in 54 games at the time of the trade. He now heads to Rochester after spending nearly five full years with Binghamton, where he had 83 goals and 108 assists (191 points) in 263 games.
Schneider is expected to start his professional career with the Binghampton Senators of the AHL. He scored 23 goals and 45 points in 38 games with the University of Connecticut.
