Knight has been with the Flyers organization for the last two seasons, playing strictly in the AHL. During those two years, Knight has amassed 25 goals and 52 assists (77 points) in 130 games with Lehigh Valley. He is expected to replace Mikhail Vorobyov tonight.
Knight, 24, was a fifth round pick (135th overall) in 2009. He has registered eight goals and four assists (12 points) in 22 games with Adirondack. He heads the San Antonio (AHL) where he will play with former University of North Dakota teammate Rocco Grimaldi.
Knight appeared in two games during his recall but served as a healthy scratch in each of the Flames last three games. With Matt Stajan ready to return from a knee injury, Knight had to be sent back to the AHL.
Knight, 24, has scored five goals and three assists in 16 games with Adirondack prior to his recall. He is expected to suit up on the Flames’ fourth line tonight vs. the Devils.
Knight recorded one goal in seven games with the Flames, but will now return to the AHL where he has collected 37 points (14G / 23A) in 57 games.
Knight, 23, has 14 goals and 23 assists (37 points) in 57 games in his first season with Abbotsford. Tonight he will make his NHL debut against the Flames.
