Schneider will be between the pipes vs. Toronto.

Schneider allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Devils 5-2 win over the Sharks in the final game before All Star break. Schneider has won four of his last six starts while posting a 2.07 GAA and .931 SV%. Tonight he takes on a Maple Leafs team he defeated 5-3 back in November.

Schneider made 14 saves on 15 shots before leaving Friday’s game in Anaheim. Schneider passed the concussion protocol tests and is ready to start tonight in San Jose. He comes in at 3-1-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .927 SV% in January. He allowed three goals on 31 shots in a loss in his first start vs. the Sharks.

Schneider left Friday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Schneider exited after the first period with what Lou Lamoriello called an “upper-body” injury.  Schneider appeared in obvious after taking a Matt Beleskey shot off his right collarbone and/or mask 3:31 into the first period. “He's feeling better right now, but he couldn't go back in,” Lamoriello said. Lamoriello said that Schneider did not require X-rays but would not speculate on if Schneider might miss Monday's game in San Jose or how long he might be out.

Schneider allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Devils 5-3 win over the Kings on Wednesday. Schneider has played very well as of late, winning three of four with a 2.01 GAA and .927 SV%. He won his first start on the California trip, but it is difficult to expect a repeat performance from the Devils in Anaheim tonight.

Schneider made 40 saves on 42 shots in the Devils loss to the Bruins last Thursday. He was given Friday night off and has had nearly a full-week off in between starts. He has gone 2-1-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .940 SV% in the 2015 calendar year. Schneider has struggled, going 8-13-0 on the road this season.

Schneider allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Devils 4-1 win over the Sabres on Tuesday. Schneider has won back-to-back games and three of his last four while posting a 1.75 GAA and .928 SV%. On Thursday, he will start in Boston—Schneider has gone 8-12-0 with a 2.73 GAA and .915 SV% on the road this season.

Schneider allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Devils 3-1 loss to the Red Wings on Wednesday. He was given last night off, but will be in goal tonight vs. the Flyers. He finished December at 3-8-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .924 SV%—as you can tell, not really his fault. The Devils averaged 1.50 goals per game with Schneider in net last month.

Schneider stopped 27 of 28 shots in the Devils 3-1 win over the Penguins on Monday. Of course he plays poorly in good match ups, but well in bad match ups. Tonight, he will make his 12th start in December, he has gone 3-7-1 with a 2.16 GAA and .927 SV% in the first 11.

Schneider gave up two goals on 27 shots in the Devils loss to the Rangers on Saturday. The coaching change sure didn’t help the Devils’ inability to score in their first game behind the bench. Despite posting a 2.28 GAA and .923 SV% in 10 starts this month, Schneider is 2-7-1. Tonight he takes on a banged up Penguins team, who he is 0-2-0 with a 3.64 GAA and .870 SV% against this year.

Despite posting a 2.28 GAA and .923 SV% in 10 starts this month, Schneider is 2-7-1. Tonight he takes on a banged up Penguins team, who he is 0-2-0 with a 3.64 GAA and .870 SV% against this year.

Schneider allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Devils 2-1 shootout loss to the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Despite posting a solid 2.55 GAA and .912 SV% over his last five starts, he has gone 0-4-1 over that stretch. Tonight he will face the Rangers and a red-hot Henrik Lundqvist.

It has been an ugly stretch for the 28-year-old, but he draws a great matchup tonight and has a good chance to head into the Christmas break on a high note.

Schneider stopped 14 of 15 shots in a 2-0 loss to the Senators on Wednesday. Despite outshooting Ottawa 34-15, the Devils could not get one past Craig Anderson. Schneider was given last night off, but will be in goal tonight when they host Washington. He has gone 1-2-0 with a 2.97 GAA and .905 SV% against the Capitals this season.

Schneider allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Devils’ loss to the Stars on Saturday. He was surprisingly given Monday night off, but will be back in goal tonight vs. the Senators. Schneider is 2-4-0 with a 2.67 GAA and .921 SV% through the first half of December.

Schneider allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Devils loss to the Flyers on Thursday. In five starts this month, he has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.22 GAA and .930 SV%. Tonight he gets the nod in Dallas against a Stars team who have lost five of their last six. Schneider took the OTL in his first start vs. Dallas.
