McElhinney allowed two goals on seven shots after replacing Sergei Bobrovsky in the Blue Jackets OT loss to the Kings on Tuesday. Bobrovsky will miss three weeks with a groin strain, so McElhinney will become the starter, including tonight in Winnipeg. McElhinney has gone 0-4-1 with a 2.77 GAA and .905 SV% in four starts and three relief appearance this season.

McElhinney allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in Anaheim on November 6th. McElhinney has gone 0-3-0 with a 2.58 GAA and .912 SV% in three starts and two relief appearances this season. He is not a great option against a Senators team that ranks ninth in the NHL in goals per game (2.83).

McElhinney stopped all 16 shots that he faced in a relief of Sergei Bobrovsky last Saturday. McElhinney has made two starts this season, both losses, while allowing a combined six goals on 57 shots (.895 SV%). When you look at the numbers, this looks like a great matchup with Anaheim ranking at the bottom of the league in scoring, but they get Ryan Getzlaf back tonight and come in winners of two straight.

He has gone 11-14-2 with a 2.83 GAA and .925 SV% in 27 starts this season. He will start against an Islanders team who played last night and are already locked into a playoff spot.

McElhinney allowed five goals on 41 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in Pittsburgh last Sunday. Sergei Bobrovsky started the first two games of the week, but it will be McElhinney tonight vs. Colorado. He made 26 saves in a 4-3 win over the Avalanche in January.

McElhinney stopped 17 of 18 shots in the Blue Jackets 2-0 loss to the Devils last night. Sergei Bobrovsky still is not quite ready to start tonight, so McElhinney will go on back-to-back nights. He won his first start against Pittsburgh and has gone 2-1-1 with a 2.42 GAA and .927 SV% on no rest this season.

McElhinney surrendered four goals on 26 shots in the Blue Jackets 5-2 loss to the Habs on Thursday. It was a tough matchup for McElhinney, who has otherwise been excellent for the Jackets in Sergei Bobrovsky’s absence. It looks like he will get one more start before Bob is back and it is a juicy matchup. McElhinney takes on the Devils having gone 5-3-1 with a 2.32 GAA and .929 SV% in February.

McElhinney gave up three goals on 37 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in New York on Sunday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will be back in the net tonight vs. Montreal. He comes in at 5-2-1 with a 2.11 GAA and .937 SV% in February. He just faced the Habs on Saturday, turning aside 21 shots in a 3-1 defeat.

McElhinney allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Blue Jackets 3-1 loss to Montreal last night. Despite the loss, Columbus will go back to McElhinney tonight in New York. He is 5-2-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .940 SV% in February—he is 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .938 SV% when he starts the second game of a back-to-back on no rest this season.

McElhinney made 29 saves on 30 shots in the Blue Jackets 2-1 win over the Penguins on Thursday. He has won three in a row and five of his last six starts while posting a 2.00 GAA and .943 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Habs in Montreal—McElhinney has gone 6-4-1 with a 2.39 GAA and .929 SV% on the road.

McElhinney made 42 saves on 44 shots in the Blue Jackets 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets on Tuesday. McElhinney has been excellent, winning four of five with a 2.20 GAA and .939 SV%. Tonight he will take on a Penguins team who have gone 4-3-1 while averaging just 2.13 goals per game in February.
