The Capitals on Monday placed D.J. King on waivers, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.
Sounds like the Caps have no need for their enforcer and may want to look at a minor-league forward.

Despite an earlier report, DJ King will start on the fourth line in place of Jay Beagle. Last season he registered six fights through 16 games last season. He could very well throw them down with Zenon Konopka or Chris Neil tonight.
