With Hunter Haight serving as a healthy scratch on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings, Yurov will draw into the lineup for his NHL debut. The 21-year-old Yurov was Minnesota's 24th-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The talented young forward scored 25 points (13G / 12A) in the KHL last season, playing 46 games with Magnitogorsk Metallurg.

Yurov is Minnesota's 2022 1st round pick (24th overall) and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract on Friday. The 21-year-old Russian forward spent 2024-25 with Metallurg Magnitogorsk (KHL) and had 13 goals and 25 points in 46 games played.
