David Perron News
Perron, who has missed 97 games due to a concussion suffered Nov. 4, 2010 vs. San Jose, will return to the lineup Saturday when the Blues host the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m. at Scottrade Center.

Perron draws back into the lineup for the first time in over a year. He is expected to play with Patrik Berglund and Chris Stewart. Grab him now in case he continues where he left off.

There has been some thought that Perron could play this weekend but he has yet to give that indication to GM Doug Armstrong. Perron was also hit by the flu bug that recently made its way around the Blues dressing room.

Similar to Sidney Crosby, Perron will return to the lineup when he feels ready to get back into a game. Reports continue to be positive on the young sniper but how he produces is anyone's guess.

@DP_57 will not be making his return to the line up tonight. Closer but not there just yet. #blues and #flames tonight at 6:30 pregame

An earlier report from Sportsnet suggested Perron would get back into the lineup for the first time in over a year. It appears those reports were false but the winger is close to returning.

Perron continues his road to recovery but is still a ways away from returning. The next step would be slowly introducing him to contact. However, practicing with the team for two consecutive days remains a welcome sign.
