David Perron News
Perron began light skating and exercising about three weeks ago, but before he can be cleared to practice, he must still pass a "baseline" test, per the guidelines of the NHL and NHL Players’ Association. Read more:

David Perron
St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Sunday that injured forward David Perron will rejoin the team on Monday.

Perron has been held out since early last season following a high hit at the hands of Joe Thornton. Perron sounded poised to break out last season as he scored five goals in his first 10 games. Monitor his performance when he returns but this winger has talent to burn.

"No. We made these with the information that we think David is going to be ready for training camp. But we are into July now and (potential injuries during the season), we wanted to have some depth, and I think we’ve created our depth. All indications are that David is doing well and getting better, but he’s not to the point to workout. Until he gets to that point, he’s not in consideration."
