Shore was acquired for Sonny Milano on Monday and will replace Riley Nash in the lineup on Tuesday. Shore has picked up 10 points (4G / 6A) in 39 games with the Ducks this season.
Shore registered nine goals and 13 assists in 73 games with the Ducks after being acquired from the Stars last season. The 25-year-old was originally drafted by Dallas in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He is set to become a restricted free-agent on July 1st.
There is no word on who Shore will replace in Nashville, but he is expected to skate on the fourth line. Shore has two assists while playing 13:38 ATOI in six games this season.
Shore has a charley horse after being kneed by Ian Cole on Sunday and will not play on Tuesday. Shore has recorded six points (2G / 4A) in 20 games since being acquired by the Ducks.
Shore is a former second-round pick who looked like he had some offensive side after picking up 26 points (15G / 11A) in 25 AHL games in 2016. However, he has a career-high of 33 points and has registered just 17 points (5G / 12A) in 42 games this year. He could play on a line with Ryan Kesler after Cogliano was sent the other way.
Shore has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury that he suffered on November 12th. Shore has picked up 11 points (5G / 6A) in 18 games this season and will skate on a line with Jason Spezza and Roope Hintz on Friday.
Shore was forced to leave Monday’s game vs. the Blue Jackets and will miss at least one week. Jason Dickinson moved up and skated in Shore’s spot on the Stars second line during Wednesday’s practice.
Shore has no points, one shot on goal and a plus-2 rating in three games this season. Shore heads back to Texas where he has 11 points (8G / 3A) in nine games.
