Timashov was traded from the Red Wings to the Islanders last December and appeared in one NHL game in 2021. The 24-year-old was in Bridgeport (AHL) most of the season, scoring five goals with six assists (11 points) in 22 games. Look for him to remain in the AHL to start the 2022 season.

Timashov spent the 2020 season with the Maple Leafs and Red Wings before being dealt to the Islanders this offseason. Timashov will replace Oliver Wahlstrom in the lineup on Sunday and comes in with nine points (4G / 5A) in 44 career NHL games.

The 23-year-old Ukrainian was a fifth-round selection of the Maple Leafs in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. While he had been a frequent scratch of late, Timashov earned a full-time roster spot this season after three productive years with the Marlies (AHL). He has four goals and five assists in 39 games this season.

Timashov was a healthy scratch on Monday and in two of the last three games but will replace Mason Marchment in the lineup on Wednesday. He has three goals and five assists in 30 games this season.

Timashov played 8:22 vs. the Islanders on Saturday but will come back out of the lineup vs. Edmonton with Adam Brooks returning from an illness.

Timashov played in the last eight games but will be replaced by Mason Marchment, who will be making his NHL debut, on Thursday. Timashov has eight points in 29 games while playing just 8:21 ATOI in his first NHL season.

Timashov has played in five straight games but will be replaced by Nic Petan on Saturday. Timashov has six points (2G / 4A) in 21 games while playing just 8:33 ATOI this season.

Timashov was a healthy scratch on Tuesday but will be back in for Nic Petan on Thursday. Timashov has registered four points (1G / 3A) in 12 games this season while playing just 9:08 ATOI on the fourth line.

Timashov played in 10 straight games but will get a chance to watch from the press box on Tuesday. Head coach Mike Babcock said that Timashov didn't do anything wrong to warrant sitting but they are rewarding Nic Petan for a strong showing with the Marlies (AHL).

Timashov registered two shots in 9:40 TOI on Saturday and has one assist in two games thus far. The fourth-line rotation continues on Monday, which means Nic Petan will replace Timashov on the fourth-line.

Timashov had one assist in 8:50 TOI in his NHL debut on Wednesday but was a healthy scratch on Saturday. The fourth-line rotation will continue tonight with Timashov replacing Nic Petan.
