Line Change
Caggiula (undisclosed) has officially been cleared to play on Tuesday.
Caggiula will miss his third straight game with an undisclosed injury. The Oilers will re-evaluate Caggiula before deciding whether or not he will travel with the team on their upcoming road-trip.
There is no indication when Caggiula suffered the injury, but he was not on the ice for Sunday’s practice, so don’t expect him to play vs. the Jets. With Caggiula out, Zack Kassian will take his spot on the third line and Anton Slepyshev will draw into the lineup.
Caggiula has missed the first 18 games of the season because of a hip injury, but will draw into the lineup on Saturday. The 22-year-old forward is coming off of a season in which he collected 51 points (25G / 25A) in 39 games at the University of North Dakota.
