The Hurricanes are coming off a disappointing 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators and will hope for a better fate with Andersen tending the twine on Friday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 35-year-old Andersen was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks. He has a 2.07 GAA and .918 SV% in 16 games this season. The Hurricanes enter Friday's contest as enormous -318 home favorites against a Canadiens squad that played last night and lost 6-4 to the Philadelphia Flyers.
