Andersen has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury, but he is set to backup John Gibson tonight vs. the Kings. This leaves the door open for Andersen to start Sunday in Dallas. With Andersen back, the Ducks had to send Jason Labarbera back to Norfolk (AHL).
It seems likely that John Gibson will start on Friday, but Andersen will travel to Dallas. Andersen said that the pain is gone, it is just about getting back up to game speed. Monitor his status heading into the weekend.
