Washington has signed Graeme Clarke to a one-year, two-way contract.

Washington continued to add to its depth on Wednesday by adding Graeme Clarke on a one-year, two-way contract. The 24-year-old appeared in three games with New Jersey back in 2023-24, but failed to pick up a point. He spent the entire 2024-25 season with Iowa (AHL), where he had 16 goals and 37 points in 64 games played. He is expected to report to Hershey (AHL) for the start of the 2025-26 season.

Clarke was a third-round pick, 80th overall, of the New Jersey Devils in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old has three games of NHL experience but has primarily played in the AHL, most recently scoring 49 points (25G / 24A) in 67 games with the Utica Comets last season.

Minnesota has signed Graeme Clarke to a one-year, two-way contract.

Clarke's rights were acquired by Minnesota a month ago in a one-for-one trade for Adam Beckman and has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Wild. The 23-year-old was an AHL All-Star in 2023-24 after putting up 25 goals and 49 points in 67 games with Utica (AHL) and will compete for a bottom-six role with the Wild this season.

Clarke is expected to draw back into the Devils' lineup on Thursday in Toronto.

Tomas Nosek will not play on Thursday due to an undisclosed injury, allowing Clarke to re-enter the lineup. The 22-year-old Clarke recently made his NHL debut but has spent most of the season in the AHL, scoring 47 points (23G / 24A) in 64 games with the Utica Comets.
