Reinhart did not appear in a game after being taken by the Golden Knights this summer, but has been with Chicago on a conditioning stint. After clearing waivers over the weekend, Reinhart has officially been assigned to the Wolves.
Reinhart has been a healthy scratch for the first eight games of the season so he heads to Chicago to get some games in. The 23-year-old former No.4 overall pick had 21 points (7G / 14A) in 54 games with Bakersfield (AHL) last season.
Reinhart has not appeared in a game with the Oilers this season after suiting up for 29 last year. In 29 games with Bakersfield, the 23-year-old has collected five goals and six assists (11 points).
Reinhart, 22, was the fourth overall pick in 2012 but has struggled to develop into the the top-4 defenseman he was expected to become. He has only appeared in 37 career NHL games and will start the 2016-17 season with Bakersfield, where he had 10 points (2G / 8A) in 30 games last year.
Reinhart, 22, has split his time between the Oilers and Condors this season and has picked up one assist in 13 games with Edmonton and six points (1G / 5A) in 17 games with Bakersfield. Reinhart is expected to serve as the Oilers seventh defensemen on Tuesday.
Reinhart failed to record a point in 12 games with the Oilers earlier in the season. In 14 games with Bakersfield, he had five points (1G / 4A). He is expected to be in the lineup on Saturday with Brandon Davidson out.
With Justin Schultz ready to return to the Oilers lineup on Saturday, the Oilers have sent Reinhart back to Bakersfield. Reinhart has played well with the Oilers but is the victim of a numbers game.
Reinhart missed the last six games with an undisclosed injury but his activation from IR gives Reinhart a chance to play on Tuesday vs. the Flyers. Reinhart has no points and a plus-1 rating in four games.
Reinhart will miss his fourth consecutive game with an undisclosed injury. The Oilers have not said what is wrong with Reinhart, but he has been moved to IR which allowed the Oilers to recall Darnell Nurse from Bakersfield (AHL).
Reinhart will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury. With Reinhart still sidelined, Andrew Ference will remain in the lineup.
Reinhart missed Tuesday’s practice and today’s gameday skate so he will be held out of the lineup tonight vs. the Red Wings. He is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury and will be replaced by Andrew Ference.
Reinhart was not at practice on Tuesday so his status for Wednesday’s game against the Red Wings is up in the air. Monitor Reinhart’s status during tomorrow’s morning skate, but if he is ruled out, Andrew Ference will draw into the lineup.
Reinhart, 21, had one assist in eight games with the Islanders this season. He has seven goals and 15 assists (22 points) in 59 games with Bridgeport. He will likely serve as an extra defenseman in the playoffs.
Reinhart had one assist and a plus-2 rating in five games during his recall. His return to the AHL suggests that either Johnny Boychuk or Travis Hamonic will be ready to go on Friday in Detroit.
Reinhart was recalled on Wednesday and with the Isles missing Travis Hamonic, Lubomir Visnovsky and Johnny Boychuk, he will get into the lineup tonight. Reinhart failed to record a point with a minus-1 rating and two PIMS in three games earlier this season.
The Isles placed Johnny Boychuk and Lubomir Visnovsky on IR to make room to call Reinhart. Reinhart, 20, has two goals and six assists in 15 games with Bridgeport this season. He has no points in three career games with the Islanders.
Reinhart had no point and was a minus-1 while averaging 14:23 TOI in his first three NHL games. With Calvin de Haan coming off of injured reserve, the Islanders had to make a move. Reinhart was the youngest of the crop so they have sent him back to the AHL to continue to develop his game.
