Brisebois comes up to replace Jalen Chatfield as the Canucks No.6/No.7 defenseman. Brisebois has no points in eight career NHL games but has posted 11 points (3G / 8A) in 26 games with Utica this season.

Brisebois has spent most of the season with Utica, where he has three goals and eight assists in 49 games on their blueline. The 21-year-old could play his third career game on Wednesday with Ben Hutton battling a foot injury.

Brisebois did not appear in a game with the Canucks during his call-up and returns to the AHL, where he has two points (1G / 1A) in seven games. Jalen Chatfield was called up to take Brisebois’ spot on the roster.

Brisebois, 21, has recorded one goal and one assist in seven games with Utica this season. Brisebois could make his NHL debut on Thursday with Alex Edler and Chris Tanev getting injured on Wednesday.
