Harkins will draw back into the Jets' lineup vs. Carolina after a successful stint with Manitoba of the AHL where he had five goals and four assists in six games played. In three games so far with the Jets in 2022-23, he has zero points and three SOG while only playing 9:21 ATOI.

Harkins has been enjoying an incredible start to his AHL season with Manitoba (AHL), scoring five goals and nine points in the team's first six games prior to his promotion Wednesday. In his 132 career NHL games, he has 22 points (10G/12A) and 24 PIMs.

Harkins (COVID-19 protocol) will return to the Jets lineup on Thursday.

Harkins missed last Thursday's game in Colorado but is set to return to the lineup in Detroit. Harkins has scored three goals and three assists in 32 games this season and could play a larger role tonight with Nikolaj Ehlers and Paul Stastny both out.

Harkins was a healthy scratch on Monday but will draw back into the lineup on Wednesday. Harkins will replace Kristian Vesalainen and skate on the fourth line with Nate Thompson and Trevor Lewis. Harkins has one assist in 22 games this season.

The Jets have recalled Jansen Harkins from Manitoba (AHL).

Harkins was a second-round pick (No.47 overall) in 2015 and has played in 156 AHL games since. This year the 22-year-old winger leads the Manitoba Moose with 31 points (7G / 24A) in 30 games. He could make his NHL debut before the Christmas break with Mathieu Perreault and Andrew Copp both going on IR on Wednesday.
