The Ducks will turn back to Dostal on Monday after John Gibson got the nod against the Red Wings on Friday. Dostal was unfortunate to come away with the loss his last time out, allowing just three goals on 39 shots in a narrow 3-2 defeat against the Golden Knights. The 24-year-old netminder owns a disappointing 4-6-2 record despite an impressive .922 SV% on the season. He will need to be at his best on Monday as the Ducks enter action as massive +350 underdogs in Dallas.

Urho Vaakanainen (undisclosed) will exit the lineup due to injury, allowing Helleson to make his season debut. Helleson was the second-round pick, 47th overall, of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old made his NHL debut with the Ducks in the 2022-23 season, playing three games, but has played exclusively in the AHL since.
