Garrison is day-to-day with the flu and will be replaced by Chris Wideman in the lineup on Thursday.
Garrison has no points and has played very little (9:32 TOI/GM) when he’s drawn into the Oilers lineup. Tonight he will be replaced by Kevin Gravel, who makes his Oilers debut.
Matt Benning replaced Garrison in the lineup on Thursday, but was placed on IR on Friday. With Benning out for at least a week, Garrison will draw in next to rookie Evan Bouchard on the Oilers’ third pair.
Garrison cleared waivers over the weekend after picking up just one assist in four games with the Golden Knights. He will report to Chicago and Shea Theodore is expected to be recalled on Monday. Garrison has fallen on hard times after points three-straight 30-plus point (full) seasons from 2012-to-2015.
Garrison missed Saturday’s game in Arizona because of an illness, but could draw back into the lineup tonight in Chicago. He is listed as a game-time decision, so monitor his status during warmups.
Garrison has missed the last two games with a knee injury, but is ready to return for Thursday’s game vs. Vancouver. Garrison is on pace for an even worse season than last year, having recorded just one goal and two assists (three points) in his first 25 games of the season.
With Garrison out, Luke Witkowski will draw into the lineup for Saturday's game against the Capitals. Head coach Jon Cooper said he does not expected Garrison to be out long-term.
Garrison was injured on Monday and will miss at least three weeks with a lower-body injury. With Garrison out, the Lightning have recalled Slater Koekkoek from Syracuse (AHL) to fill in.
Garrison suffered a lower-body injury in Monday’s loss in Ottawa and will not play tonight in Montreal. With Garrison out, Matt Carle will be back in the lineup after serving as a healthy scratch for the last four games. Garrison is listed as day-to-day.
Garrison took part in the Lightning’s morning skate and said that he would “feel comfortable” if he played tonight. He will be a game-time decision, so monitor his status during pre-game warmups.
