Ylonen will head to the press box for Montreal's final game of the season as he is replaced by Tanner Pearson vs. Detroit. The 24-year-old has failed to produce after posting a career high 16 points in 37 games played in 2022-23; with only four goals and eight points in 59 games played this season.
Michael Pezzetta will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday, allowing Ylonen to re-enter the Canadiens' lineup. Ylonen last played on February 13th, registering two hits and +1 plus/minus in 8:45 time-on-ice.
Ylonen will take a seat on Thursday as Lucas Condotta enters the lineup. Ylonen has three goals and four assists in 38 games this season.
Ylonen left Monday's win vs. the Avalanche, missed Tuesday's practice and is questionable to play Wednesday in New Jersey. Ylonen did travel with the team, so there's a chance he plays. He comes into Wednesday with seven points (3G / 4A) in 36 games this season.
Yvonne has a goal, seven SOG, two PIMs and a -1 plus/minus in eight games with Montreal but will be a healthy scratch Saturday as Michael Pezzetta returns to the lineup. The 24-year-old right winger is in his four NHL season and will hope to be back in the lineup if he hopes to surpass his 37 games played from 2022-23.
Ylonen has been a healthy scratch the last two games and hasn't played since October 26th but will return to the Canadiens lineup on Thursday in Arizona. Michael Pezzetta will serve as a healthy scratch, allowing Pezetta, who has one point (1G / 0A) in seven games, to return to the lineup.
Ylonen has played all seven games for the Canadiens this season but has been held pointless after scoring a goal in the team's season-opener on October 11th. He will be a healthy scratch on Saturday against the Winnipeg Jets to make room for Joel Armia's season debut.

Ylonen has five goals, seven assists, 32 SOG, and a -11 plus/minus through 29 games this season but is not expected to play on Tuesday as he deals with an illness. The 23-year-old is will hope to be back in the Canadiens' lineup soon as he is having a career season.
Ylonen has eight goals, 27 points, 16 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus rating through 34 games played with Laval (AHL) but has been recalled to the Canadiens for the first time this season. The 23-year-old played in 15 games with Montreal in 2021-22, picking up two goals, five points and a +2 plus/minus in his short showing.
Ylonen did not play Saturday in Toronto but is expected to replace Michael Pezzetta in the Canadiens' bottom-6 on Monday. Ylonen, who spent most of the season in the AHL, has five points (2G / 3A) in 13 games with Montreal.
