The Lightning have signed Jesse Ylonen to a one-year, two-way deal.

Tampa Bay added to its depth on Monday with the addition of 24-year-old Jesse Ylonen to a one-year, two-way deal. The right-winger had spent his first four seasons in Montreal but broke career highs in games played in 2023-24 (59), picking up four goals and eight points.

Ylonen will head to the press box for Montreal's final game of the season as he is replaced by Tanner Pearson vs. Detroit. The 24-year-old has failed to produce after posting a career high 16 points in 37 games played in 2022-23; with only four goals and eight points in 59 games played this season.

The 23-year-old right-winger is entering his fourth season in Montreal after being drafted in the second-round of the 2018 NHL Draft (35th overall) and has eight goals and 21 points in 52 career games played.
