Keane has been promoted to the active roster and will make his NHL debut on Monday.
Keane was a third-round pick of the Rangers in 2018 and was traded to the Hurricanes last February for Julien Gauthier. Keane has picked up 12 assists in 21 AHL games in 2021.
The Hurricanes acquired Keane from the Rangers in exchange for forward Julien Gauthier.
