Bernier starts vs. the Devils.

Bernier allowed two goals on 43 shots in a win over the Flames last Wednesday. He has had over a week off in between starts and the rest of the team hasn't played since Saturday. The Maple Leafs are without some key players due to injuries, but they should still have a solid enough roster to take care of the Devils.

Bernier allowed three goals on 40 shots on Saturday vs. Chicago. Chicago was all over the Leafs on this night, and Bernier stood as tall as he could. He has now lost back-to-back starts, and it will be tough to get back on track vs. the red-hot Anaheim Ducks-they have won seven straight.

Bernier not taking part in optional skate; Will start vs. Edmonton.

Bernier will start three straight games for the first time in his career. His first week and a half as a Maple Leaf have been spectacular. Thursday night he posted a 36 save shutout, dropping his GAA to 0.84 through four starts. Of goalies who have made at least two starts, he leads the NHL in SV% with a .974. While it isn't time to start building a statue in front of the ACC, this is a great start for the 25-year-old.
