Bernier has been absolutely outstanding since Semyon Varlamov went down and he will look to win his seventh consecutive game tonight vs. the Sharks.

Bernier turned away 27 of 28 shots in Colorado’s win in Dallas on Saturday. Bernier is riding a five-game winning streak, while posting an impressive 1.33 GAA, .960 SV% and one shutout. In his first start against the Ducks this season, Bernier stopped 17 of 18 shots in a 3-1 win, but that was when the Ducks were banged up.

Bernier allowed two goals on 36 shots in Colorado’s win over the Wild last Saturday. Semyon Varlamov (lower-body) still isn’t ready to go after the Avi’ bye week so they will continue to roll with Bernier tonight in Dallas. He has won four in a row with a 1.43 GAA, .959 SV% and one shutout since Varlamov went down and is 1-1-0 with a 2.74 GAA and .892 SV% in two starts vs. the Stars this season.

Bernier stopped all 34 shots that he faced in Colorado’s shutout win over the Blue Jackets on Thursday. Bernier extended his personal winning streak to three games, turning aside 82 of the last 85 shots (.965 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he takes on a Wild team that is fully healthy and come in winners of four of five, averaging 3.80 goals for per game.

Bernier stopped 21 of 23 shots after replacing the injured Semyon Varlamov in Colorado’s win over the Jets on Tuesday. Bernier has won two in a row while stopping 48 of 51 shots (.941 SV%). Bernier will take on the Blue Jackets at the Pepsi Center where he is 5-4-0 with a 3.05 GAA and .898 SV% this season.

Bernier gave up six goals on 31 shots in Colorado’s loss to Tampa Bay on December 16th. Bernier has either been really good or really bad with no real in between games—one of his bad outings came against the Islanders, who he’ll face again tonight. He surrendered six goals on 28 shots in a 6-4 loss in Brooklyn in early-November.
