Quick stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Kings win in San Jose on Saturday. Quick has played very well in his first two starts, kicking the season off at 2-0-0 while stopping 59 of 60 shots (.983 SV%). He will take on a Flames team that is 2-1-0 while averaging 2.67 goals for per game through the first season of the season.
Quick will look to have a better season opener tonight than he did last year. Quick left last year’s game No.1 with a groin injury and ended up missing four and a half months as a result.
